Katakwi United Mothers operate a motorcycle spare parts shop they opened up in Katakwi town with financial support from UWEP. It's amazing how they know all the names to the different parts, but more so venturing into such a field largely dominated by men is a huge milestone for them and the Programme.

Natumukasikou Handcraft women’s group are beneficiaries to the programme in the financial year 2015/2016, dealing in crafts, women in rural can use their skills, knowledge and experience to run successful businesses this helps them support their families and communities.

Workshops and Training

Moa Yao Women's Group undergoing some basic training after they benefited from the programme in the financial year 2016/2017. They were taken through basic training in financial management skills, group dynamics, record keeping, procurement and the revolving fund mechanism
